K\u0131talar b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fcklerine g\u00f6re; Asya Afrika Kuzey Amerika G\u00fcney Amerika Antarktika Avrupa ve Avustralya olarak dizilirler. Avrupa k\u0131tas\u0131 Asya k\u0131tas\u0131n\u0131n geni\u015f bir yar\u0131madas\u0131 durumunda oldu\u011fundan ikisine birlikte Avrasya denir. (6 veya 7 k\u0131ta).<br \/>\n K\u0131talar\u0131n olu\u015fumu ile ilgili olarak Alman Alfred Wegener ve Hary Hammond Hess isimli bilim adamlar\u0131 \u00e7e\u015fitli teoriler ortaya koymu\u015ftur.<br \/>\na)Alfred Wegener\u2019a G\u00f6re K\u0131talar\u0131n Olu\u015fumu Teorisi :<br \/>\n Alman bilim adam\u0131 Alfred Wegener 1912 y\u0131l\u0131nda b\u00fct\u00fcn k\u0131talar\u0131n 250 milyon y\u0131l \u00f6nce tek par\u00e7a halinde dev bir k\u0131ta oldu\u011funu \u00f6ne s\u00fcrm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Wegener\u2019a g\u00f6re bu dev k\u0131ta daha sonra k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck k\u0131talara b\u00f6l\u00fcnm\u00fc\u015f ve bunlar da zamanla birbirlerinden uzakla\u015farak ayr\u0131lm\u0131\u015flar ve hala da uzakla\u015fmaya devam etmektedirler.<br \/>\n Wegener\u2019a g\u00f6re k\u0131talar\u0131n birbirinden ayr\u0131lmas\u0131n\u0131n ve uzakla\u015fmas\u0131n\u0131n nedeni k\u0131talar\u0131n okyanus taban\u0131 \u00fczerinde kaymas\u0131d\u0131r.<br \/>\n Wegener\u2019a g\u00f6re k\u0131talar\u0131n daha \u00f6nce tek par\u00e7a oldu\u011fu ile ilgili olarak;<br \/>\n \u2022 D\u00fcnyadaki k\u0131talar\u0131n b\u00fcy\u00fck bir yap\u2013boz gibi birbirini tamamlayan par\u00e7alar olmas\u0131 k\u0131talar\u0131n \u00f6nceden tek par\u00e7a oldu\u011funun kan\u0131t\u0131d\u0131r.<br \/>\n \u2022 Ayn\u0131 t\u00fcr s\u00fcr\u00fcngenlere ait fosillerin okyanus taraf\u0131ndan ayr\u0131lan farkl\u0131 k\u0131talarda bulunmas\u0131 k\u0131talar\u0131n birbirinden ayr\u0131lmas\u0131n\u0131n kan\u0131t\u0131d\u0131r. (\u0130klime g\u00f6re kan\u0131tlam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r).<br \/>\nb) Hary Hammond Hesse\u2019e G\u00f6re K\u0131talar\u0131n Olu\u015fumu Teorisi :<br \/>\n Wegener\u2019in k\u0131talar\u0131n olu\u015fumu ile ilgili olarak ortaya koydu\u011fu g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015f o d\u00f6nemde kabul edilmemi\u015f fakat Hary Hammond Hess isimli bilim adam\u0131n\u0131n ortaya koydu\u011fu okyanus taban\u0131 yay\u0131lmas\u0131 teorisinden sonra anlam kazanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<br \/>\n Hammond\u2019a g\u00f6re k\u0131talar\u0131n olu\u015fmas\u0131n\u0131n nedeni sadece k\u0131talar\u0131n okyanus taban\u0131 \u00fczerinde kaymas\u0131 de\u011fildir ve okyanus taban\u0131 da hareket halindedir. Buna okyanus taban\u0131 yay\u0131lmas\u0131 teorisi denir.<br \/>\nc) G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczdeki K\u0131talar\u0131n Olu\u015fumu Teorisi :<br \/>\n G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde k\u0131talar\u0131n olu\u015fmas\u0131n\u0131n ve birbirinden ayr\u0131larak uzakla\u015fmas\u0131n\u0131n ate\u015f k\u00fcredeki s\u0131cak ve ak\u0131\u015fkan magman\u0131n hareketi sonucu ger\u00e7ekle\u015fen levha hareketleri nedeniyle olu\u015ftu\u011fu kan\u0131tlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<br \/>\n Ate\u015f k\u00fcredeki magma s\u0131cak ve ak\u0131\u015fkan bir maddedir ve ate\u015f k\u00fcredeki hareketlerin nedeni magmad\u0131r.<br \/>\n \u2022 B\u00fct\u00fcn k\u0131talar g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczden yakla\u015f\u0131k 250 milyon y\u0131l \u00f6nce tek par\u00e7a halinde dev bir k\u0131ta halinde idi.
