Karalar\u0131 ve okyanus tabanlar\u0131n\u0131 yani yerkabu\u011funu olu\u015fturan ve magma \u00fczerinde hareket eden par\u00e7alara levha denir. Levha k\u0131ta anlam\u0131na gelmez.<br \/>\n Levhalar yerkabu\u011funda bulundu\u011fu yere g\u00f6re 3 \u00e7e\u015fittir. (B\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fckleri birka\u00e7 y\u00fcz km2\u2019den milyonlarca km2\u2019ye kadar de\u011fi\u015febilir).<br \/>\n \u00dczerinde sadece k\u0131ta bulunan (yani k\u0131ta alt\u0131nda bulunan) levhalara k\u0131tasal levha denir.<br \/>\n \u00dczerinde sadece okyanus bulunan (yani okyanus alt\u0131nda bulunan) levhalara okyanusal levha denir.<br \/>\n \u00dczerinde hem k\u0131ta hem de okyanus bulunan (yani hem k\u0131ta hem de okyanus alt\u0131nda) levhalara okyanusal\u2013k\u0131tasal levha denir.<\/p>\n<p>Levha Hareketleri :<\/p>\n<p> Levhalar magma \u00fczerinde s\u00fcrekli hareket halindedirler. Yerkabu\u011funda hareket halinde 7 tane ana \u00e7ok say\u0131da da k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck levha vard\u0131r. Bu levhalar birbirlerine \u00e7arpar birbirlerinin alt\u0131na girer veya birbirlerine s\u00fcrt\u00fcn\u00fcp s\u0131y\u0131rarak hareket ederler.<br \/>\n Yer k\u00fcrenin olu\u015fumundan beri milyarlarca y\u0131l s\u00fcren levha hareketleri yerkabu\u011funun \u015feklini etkilemi\u015ftir. Levhalar \u00e7ok yava\u015f hareket ederler ve levha hareketleri insan g\u00f6z\u00fcyle g\u00f6r\u00fclemez. (GPS\u2013Co\u011frafi Pozisyon Sistemi\u2013 cihaz\u0131 yard\u0131m\u0131yla \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fclebilir). Levhalar her y\u0131l birbirlerine g\u00f6re yakla\u015f\u0131k 1\u201310 cm aras\u0131nda hareket ederler. (Amerika ve Afrika K\u0131talar\u0131 her y\u0131l 35 cm birbirinden uzakla\u015fmaktad\u0131r).<br \/>\n Levha hareketlerinin en \u00f6nemli nedeni ate\u015f k\u00fcredeki s\u0131cak ve ak\u0131\u015fkan magmada y\u00fcksek s\u0131cakl\u0131ktan dolay\u0131 ger\u00e7ekle\u015fen konveksiyon hareketleridir. Magma \u00e7ekirdekten \u0131s\u0131 enerjisi al\u0131r ve (s\u0131cakl\u0131kla birlikte hacmi artt\u0131\u011f\u0131 i\u00e7in) yo\u011funlu\u011fu azal\u0131r. Yo\u011funlu\u011fu azalan magma konveksiyon ak\u0131m\u0131nda oldu\u011fu gibi yo\u011funlu\u011fu b\u00fcy\u00fck olan so\u011fuk madde ile yer de\u011fi\u015ftirir ve bu nedenle magma yerkabu\u011funda y\u00fckselir. Y\u00fckselen magma levhalar\u0131 birbirinden uzakla\u015ft\u0131r\u0131r ve so\u011fuma sonucu yeni levhalar olu\u015fturur. Yeni olu\u015fan levha ayr\u0131lan kom\u015fu levhalar\u0131n alt\u0131na girer. (Ate\u015f k\u00fcreye batan yani di\u011fer levhalar\u0131n alt\u0131na giren levha \u0131s\u0131narak tekrar y\u00fckselir).<br \/>\n Magmadaki konveksiyon hareketleri s\u00fcrekli devam eden bir s\u00fcre\u00e7tir ve konveksiyon hareketleri sonucu levha s\u0131n\u0131rlar\u0131nda k\u0131sa zaman dilimlerinde ani ve \u015fiddetli uzun zaman dilimlerinde ise yava\u015f ve s\u00fcrekli \u015fekil de\u011fi\u015fikli\u011fi meydana gelir. Bu de\u011fi\u015fiklikler levhan\u0131n t\u00fcrlerine ve hareket bi\u00e7imlerine g\u00f6re yeni okyanuslar\u0131n k\u0131talar\u0131n s\u0131rada\u011flar\u0131n ve volkanlar\u0131n olu\u015fmas\u0131na neden olur.<br \/>\n Magma \u00fczerindeki levhalar \u00fc\u00e7 \u015fekilde hareket edebilir.<br \/>\n \u2022 Levhalar birbirine yakla\u015fabilir ve yakla\u015fma hareketi yapar.<br \/>\n \u2022 Levhalar birbirinden uzakla\u015fabilir ve uzakla\u015fma hareketi yapar.<br \/>\n \u2022 Levhalar birbirine yatay olarak ayn\u0131 veya z\u0131t y\u00f6nde s\u00fcrt\u00fcnebilir ve yanal hareket yapar.<\/p>\n<p> Levhalar\u0131n Yakla\u015fma Hareketi :<\/p>\n<p> Birbirine yakla\u015fan levhalar birbiri ile \u00e7arp\u0131\u015f\u0131r ve \u00e7arp\u0131\u015fma sonucu \u00e7e\u015fitli yery\u00fcz\u00fc \u015fekilleri olu\u015fur. Olu\u015fan yery\u00fcz\u00fc \u015fekli \u00e7arp\u0131\u015fan levhalar\u0131n t\u00fcr\u00fcne g\u00f6re de\u011fi\u015fir. Levhalar\u0131n birbirine yakla\u015fmas\u0131 sonucu sa\u011flar s\u0131rada\u011flar volkanik da\u011flar olu\u015fur.<br \/>\n Levhalar\u0131n yakla\u015fma hareket sonucu;<br \/>\n \u2022 Dalma\u2013batma olay\u0131 olu\u015fur.<br \/>\n \u2022 Da\u011flar ve k\u0131vr\u0131ml\u0131 s\u0131rada\u011flar olu\u015fur.<br \/>\n \u2022 Volkanik adalar olu\u015fur.<br \/>\n \u2022 Okyanus \u00e7ukurlar\u0131 olu\u015fur.<br \/>\na) K\u0131tasal Levha\u2013K\u0131tasal Levha Yakla\u015fmas\u0131 :<br \/>\n K\u0131tasal levhalar\u0131n yo\u011funluklar\u0131 magman\u0131n yo\u011funlu\u011fundan azd\u0131r ve magmaya batmazlar. Bu levhalar birbirine yakla\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131nda levha kenarlar\u0131ndaki yer kabu\u011fu \u00e7ok b\u00fcy\u00fck k\u0131vr\u0131mlar olu\u015facak bi\u00e7imde yukar\u0131 do\u011fru itilir ve milyonlarca y\u0131l i\u00e7inde ger\u00e7ekle\u015fen bu olay sonucunda k\u0131vr\u0131ml\u0131 s\u0131rada\u011flar olu\u015fur.<br \/>\n K\u0131tasal levhalar\u0131n yakla\u015fmas\u0131 s\u0131ras\u0131nda yerkabu\u011funun yukar\u0131 itilmesi hareketi \u00e7ok g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fcyse da\u011f olu\u015fumu ger\u00e7ekle\u015fmez ve yer kabu\u011fu e\u011filebilir yat\u0131k bir hal alabilir ya da k\u0131r\u0131labilir.<br \/>\n Ege B\u00f6lgesinde\u2019ki Bozda\u011flar ve Ayd\u0131n Da\u011flar\u0131 ile Himalaya Da\u011flar\u0131n\u0131n olu\u015fumu bu \u015fekilde ger\u00e7ekle\u015fmi\u015ftir.<br \/>\nb) Okyanusal Levha\u2013K\u0131tasal Levha Yakla\u015fmas\u0131 :<br \/>\n Okyanusal levhan\u0131n yo\u011funlu\u011fu k\u0131tasal levhan\u0131n yo\u011funlu\u011fundan fazlad\u0131r ve bu levhalar birbirine yakla\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131nda yo\u011funlu\u011fu fazla olan okyanusal levha k\u0131tasal levhan\u0131n alt\u0131na do\u011fru dalar.<br \/>\n Okyanusal levhan\u0131n batt\u0131\u011f\u0131 b\u00f6lgede y\u00fczeyde bir hendek (\u00e7ukur) olu\u015fur. Bu olay\u0131n meydana geldi\u011fi b\u00f6lgeye dalma\u2013batma b\u00f6lgesi denir.<br \/>\n K\u0131tasal levhan\u0131n alt\u0131na dalan okyanusal levha ate\u015f k\u00fcre i\u00e7inde daha derinlere dald\u0131\u011f\u0131nda y\u00fcksek s\u0131cakl\u0131ktan dolay\u0131 eriyerek magmaya kar\u0131\u015f\u0131r. Magma da yery\u00fcz\u00fcn\u00fcn zay\u0131f noktalardan yery\u00fcz\u00fcne do\u011fru y\u00fckselerek yery\u00fcz\u00fcnde volkanlar\u0131 olu\u015fturur.<br \/>\n Okyanusal ve k\u0131tasal levha \u00e7arp\u0131\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131nda levha s\u0131n\u0131rlar\u0131nda \u00fcstte kalan ve batmayan k\u0131tasal levhadaki yer kabu\u011funun s\u0131k\u0131\u015fmas\u0131 nedeniyle da\u011flar da olu\u015fabilir. G\u00fcney Amerika Levhas\u0131\u2019n\u0131n alt\u0131na dalan Nazca Levhas\u0131\u2019n\u0131n olu\u015fturdu\u011fu And Da\u011flar\u0131 buna \u00f6rnektir.<br \/>\nc) Okyanusal Levha\u2013 Okyanusal Levha Yakla\u015fmas\u0131 :<br \/>\n Okyanusal levhalar bir araya geldi\u011finde ikisi de birbirinin alt\u0131na dalmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131r. Yo\u011funlu\u011fu fazla olan di\u011ferinin alt\u0131na dalar ve dalman\u0131n ger\u00e7ekle\u015fti\u011fi yerin y\u00fczeyinde derin hendekler olu\u015fur.<br \/>\n Dalan levha batt\u0131\u011f\u0131 noktada ate\u015f k\u00fcre ile temas ederek erir ve magmaya kar\u0131\u015f\u0131r. Magma okyanus taban\u0131nda buldu\u011fu zay\u0131f noktalardan yery\u00fcz\u00fcne do\u011fru y\u00fckselmeye ba\u015flar ve yery\u00fcz\u00fcnde volkan dizilerini yani volkanik adalar\u0131 olu\u015fturur. Filipinler\u2019deki bir\u00e7ok volkanik ada bu \u015fekilde olu\u015fmu\u015ftur.<\/p>\n<p> Levhalar\u0131n Uzakla\u015fma Hareketi :<\/p>\n<p> Birbirinden uzakla\u015fan levhalar aras\u0131nda \u00e7atlaklar olu\u015fur. Magman\u0131n \u00e7o\u011fu uzakla\u015fan levhalar\u0131n kenarlar\u0131nda birikerek kat\u0131la\u015f\u0131rken bir k\u0131sm\u0131 da \u00e7atlaklardan y\u00fczeye ula\u015farak (yay\u0131lma s\u0131rtlar\u0131 olarak adland\u0131r\u0131lan) volkanik s\u0131rada\u011flar\u0131 olu\u015fturur. Levhalar\u0131n kenarlar\u0131nda biriken magma levhalara kuvvet uygulayarak levhalar\u0131n birbirinden uzakla\u015fmas\u0131n\u0131n s\u00fcrmesine neden olur.<br \/>\n Okyanus tabanlar\u0131nda milyonlarca y\u0131l s\u00fcren bu levha hareketleri yeni okyanuslar\u0131n olu\u015fmas\u0131na veya g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczdeki okyanuslar\u0131n \u015fekil de\u011fi\u015ftirmesine neden olur. S\u00fcrekli bi\u00e7im de\u011fi\u015ftiren okyanus tabanlar\u0131 zaman zaman yok olsa da bunlar\u0131n yerine yenileri olu\u015fur.<br \/>\n Levhalar\u0131n birbirinden uzakla\u015fmas\u0131 sonucu (levhalar\u0131n birbirinden uzakla\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131 yerlerde);<br \/>\n \u2022 Okyanuslar olu\u015fur.<br \/>\n \u2022 Okyanus ortas\u0131 s\u0131rtlar\u0131 olu\u015fur.(Atlas Okyanusundaki s\u0131rt 2500 m y\u00fcksekliktedir).<br \/>\n \u2022 Volkanik adalar olu\u015fur.<br \/>\n \u2022 Volkanik s\u0131rada\u011flar olu\u015fur.<br \/>\n \u2022 Okyanus taban\u0131 geni\u015fler.<br \/>\n \u2022 Volkanik olaylar ger\u00e7ekle\u015fir.<br \/>\n \u2022 (Kabuk olu\u015fumu ger\u00e7ekle\u015fir).<\/p>\n<p> Levhalar\u0131n Yanal Hareketi :<\/p>\n<p> Yan yana olan iki levhan\u0131n ayn\u0131 ya da farkl\u0131 s\u00fcratlerle ayn\u0131 y\u00f6nde ya da z\u0131t y\u00f6nde kayarak hareket etmesine levhalar\u0131n yanal hareketi denir. Levhalar\u0131n yanal hareketi sonucu depremler olu\u015fur.<br \/>\n Di\u011fer levha hareketlerinde g\u00f6zlenen bir k\u0131s\u0131m levhan\u0131n magma i\u00e7inde erimesi veya ta\u015fk\u00fcrede artma azalma gibi olaylar yanal hareket sonras\u0131nda g\u00f6zlenmez.<br \/>\n Yan yana olan levhalar\u0131n s\u00fcrt\u00fcnd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc yerlerde k\u0131sa s\u00fcrede ani ve \u015fiddetli \u015fekil de\u011fi\u015fiklikleri olu\u015fur. Yanal hareket s\u0131ras\u0131nda bir levha di\u011ferine dayand\u0131\u011f\u0131nda arada kalan kayalar s\u0131k\u0131\u015farak yerlerinden oynar ya da k\u0131r\u0131l\u0131r. Bunun nedeni levhalar aras\u0131ndaki s\u00fcrt\u00fcnmenin \u00e7ok b\u00fcy\u00fck olmas\u0131d\u0131r. Bu k\u0131r\u0131lma ve kopmalar s\u0131ras\u0131nda a\u00e7\u0131\u011fa \u00e7\u0131kan enerji dalgalar halinde yay\u0131larak yery\u00fcz\u00fcnde sars\u0131lmaya neden olur.
