\nElde edilen LiCO3 \u00e7\u00f6kele\u011fi HCl ile reaksiyona sokularak LiCl elde edilir.

\nLiCl erime noktas\u0131 600\u00b0C den fazla oldu\u011fu i\u00e7in elektroliz ile safla\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131 zor oldu\u011fundan LiCl (55%) ve KCl (45%) kar\u0131\u015f\u0131m\u0131 kullan\u0131larak erime noktas\u0131 430 C\u2019ye d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcr\u00fcl\u00fcr. Bu kar\u0131\u015f\u0131m\u0131n elektrolizi ile Li saf olarak elde edilir.
