Bu dil \u00fczerinde g\u00f6l\u00fc denize ba\u011flayan bir kesinti bulunur ve bunun \u00fczerinden \u00e7ok g\u00f6zl\u00fc tarihi bir k\u00f6pr\u00fc olan Kanuni Sultan S\u00fcleyman K\u00f6pr\u00fcs\u00fc ge\u00e7er. B\u00fcy\u00fck\u00e7ekmece G\u00f6l\u00fcn\u00fcn Marmara Denizi ile birle\u015fti\u011fi yerde B\u00fcy\u00fck\u00e7ekmece Baraj\u0131 yer al\u0131r. Baraj ile deniz aras\u0131nda hafif tuzlu bir g\u00f6l, su odac\u0131klar\u0131 ve sazl\u0131klar bulunur. G\u00f6lde bal\u0131k da tutulur. G\u00f6lde eskiden 30 t\u00fcr bal\u0131k varken bu say\u0131 halihaz\u0131rda 4&#8217;\u00fc yabanc\u0131 t\u00fcr olmak \u00fczere 15 t\u00fcr bal\u0131k kalm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.
