Gezegen teleskopla incelendi\u011finde ye\u015filimsi bir renkte g\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcr ve \u00e7\u0131plak g\u00f6zle g\u00f6r\u00fclebilen en uzak gezegendir. Neredeyse t\u00fcm\u00fc gazlardan olu\u015fan bu gezegenin yo\u011funlu\u011fu \u00e7ok k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fckt\u00fcr. Ortalama 700 kg\/m3 yo\u011funlu\u011fu ile G\u00fcne\u015f Sistemi&#8217;nde en k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck yo\u011funlu\u011fa sahip olan gezegendir. G\u00fcne\u015fe olan uzakl\u0131\u011f\u0131 nedeni ile y\u00fczey s\u0131cakl\u0131\u011f\u0131 yakla\u015f\u0131k olarak -150 C\u00ba dir. Vogayer arac\u0131ndan al\u0131nan k\u0131z\u0131l\u00f6tesi bilgilere dayan\u0131larak gezegendeki hidrojen\/helyum oran\u0131 9\/1 olarak saplanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Sat\u00fcrn&#8217;\u00fcn \u00e7evresine yayd\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u0131s\u0131 enerjisi g\u00fcne\u015ften ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u0131s\u0131 enerjisinden daha fazlad\u0131r.<br \/>\n Gezegenin \u00e7evresindeki halkalar y\u0131llarca bir s\u0131r olarak kalm\u0131\u015f ve gezegene insanlar\u0131n b\u00fcy\u00fck ilgi g\u00f6stermesine neden olmu\u015ftur. Bu halkalar ilk olarak Galileo uzay arac\u0131 taraf\u0131ndan g\u00f6zlenmi\u015ftir fakat ne oldu\u011fu ancak Huygens taraf\u0131ndan 1655&#8217;te a\u00e7\u0131klanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Gezegen \u00e7evresinde ara\u015ft\u0131rma yapan sondalar. Halkalar\u0131n yap\u0131s\u0131 ve i\u00e7eri\u011fi hakk\u0131nda bize baz\u0131 bilgiler verdi. Bu bilgilere dayan\u0131larak en d\u0131\u015ftaki halkadan en i\u00e7 teki halkaya do\u011fru s\u0131ras\u0131 ile A, B, C, E, F ve G isimleri verilmi\u015ftir. Bu ara\u015ft\u0131rmalarda halkalar\u0131n san\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan daha karma\u015f\u0131k bir yap\u0131ya sahip oldu\u011fu ve \u00e7ok say\u0131da \u00e7emberden olu\u015ftu\u011fu anla\u015f\u0131ld\u0131. Halkalar\u0131n arkas\u0131ndaki y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n parlakl\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fclebildi\u011fi i\u00e7in halkalar\u0131n geni\u015fli\u011finin yaln\u0131zca 20 km kadar olabilece\u011fi tahmin edilmektedir. Ke\u015ffedilen ilk uydusu 1655 y\u0131l\u0131nda bulunan Titan d\u0131r. Titan ayn\u0131 zamanda Sat\u00fcrn&#8217;\u00fcn en b\u00fcy\u00fck uydusudur. Titan, yo\u011fun ve portakal renkli bir atmosfere sahiptir. Y\u00fczey bas\u0131nc\u0131n\u0131n 1,5 atmosferden daha fazla oldu\u011fu tahmin edilmektedir. Atmosferin yap\u0131s\u0131nda azot, metan ve %12 oran\u0131nda argonla az miktarda molek\u00fcler hidrojen i\u00e7erir. Gezegenin t\u00fcm uydular\u0131n\u0131n y\u00fczeyleri \u00e7arp\u0131\u015fma izleri ile doludur. Titan\u0131n ile birlikte 8 uydunun ke\u015ffinden sonra Voyager sondas\u0131 ile 8 yeni uydu daha ke\u015ffedildi.
