Bir ba\u015fka deyi\u015fle, \u015fiir d\u00fcz yaz\u0131 ile anlat\u0131lamayan duygu ve d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncelerin ses uyumlar\u0131 ile, kula\u011fa ho\u015f gelecek bi\u00e7imde olu\u015fturulan dizelerle anlat\u0131lmas\u0131d\u0131r. Ama bu tan\u0131m manzumeyi de kapsar. \u015eiiri manzumeden ay\u0131ran \u00f6zellik ise, manzumenin y\u00fczeysel ve s\u0131radan olmas\u0131na kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131k, \u015fiirin yo\u011funluk ve derinlik ta\u015f\u0131mas\u0131d\u0131r.\u00f6l\u00e7\u00fc ve uyak,\u00e7a\u011flar boyunca \u015fiirin en ay\u0131r\u0131c\u0131 niteli\u011fi olarak kabul edilmi\u015ftir.Ne var ki,yaln\u0131zca \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fc ve uyakla \u015fiir yarat\u0131lamayaca\u011f\u0131 gibi, \u00f6zellikle 20.y.y da \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fc ve uyak kullan\u0131lmadan da \u00e7ok ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131 \u015fiirlerin yaz\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fcld\u00fc. Bunun sonucunda d\u00fcz yaz\u0131n\u0131n nerede bitip \u015fiirin nerede ba\u015flad\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u00f6nemli bir sorun olarak ortaya \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131. D\u00fcz yaz\u0131da dil yaln\u0131zca bir bildiri iletmenin arac\u0131d\u0131r; bildiri iletildikten sonra s\u00f6zc\u00fcklerin \u00f6nemi kalmaz. \u015eiirde ise vurgu, s\u00f6zc\u00fcklerin aktard\u0131\u011f\u0131 bilgi kadar , s\u00f6zc\u00fcklerin \u00fczerinde de yo\u011funla\u015f\u0131r. Yani \u015fiirde neyin s\u00f6ylendi\u011finden \u00e7ok , nas\u0131l s\u00f6ylendi\u011fi \u00f6nemlidir.<br \/>\n\u015eiirin ne oldu\u011funu tam olarak anlayabilmek i\u00e7in yap\u0131lmas\u0131 gereken en iyi \u015fey, \u00e7e\u015fitli t\u00fcrlerde \u00e7ok say\u0131da iyi \u015fiir okuyup bunlar\u0131n \u00fczerinde d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnmektir. B\u00f6ylelikle \u015fiirin ne olup olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131, s\u00f6zc\u00fcklerin nas\u0131l se\u00e7ildi\u011fi, nas\u0131l s\u0131raland\u0131\u011f\u0131 , te\u015fbih ve istiarelerin nas\u0131l kullan\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 gibi konularda daha \u00e7ok bilgi edinilebilir. <\/p>\n<p>\u015eiir T\u00fcrleri :   <\/p>\n<p>\u015eiirler i\u015flenilen konular\u0131na ve s\u00f6yleni\u015f bi\u00e7imlerine g\u00f6re t\u00fcrlere ayr\u0131l\u0131r. Epik s\u00f6zc\u00fc\u011f\u00fc EPOPE   ( Destan ) s\u00f6z\u00fcnden do\u011fmu\u015ftur. Bir milletin hayat\u0131n\u0131 yak\u0131ndan ilgilendiren ve etkileyen tarih ve toplum olaylar\u0131 ile ilgili kahramanl\u0131klar\u0131 dile getiren hikaye \u015feklindeki \u015fiirlerdir. Divan edebiyat\u0131nda kasideler, Halk edebiyat\u0131nda ko\u00e7aklama, destan, varsa\u011f\u0131 t\u00fcrleri de epik \u00f6zellik g\u00f6sterir. Tarihimizde bir\u00e7ok \u015fanl\u0131 zaferler ya\u015fad\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131zdan, epik \u015fiir y\u00f6n\u00fcyle bir hayli zengin bir edebiyat\u0131m\u0131z vard\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Epik \u015fiirler \u201cDo\u011fal Epik \u201c ve \u201c Yapay Epik\u201d olarak ikiye ayr\u0131l\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>  Do\u011fal Epik ; Milletin hayat\u0131n\u0131 etkileyip , derin izler b\u0131rakan tarihi olaylar\u0131 , kahramanl\u0131k y\u00f6n\u00fc ile i\u015fleyen manzum hikayelerdir.<br \/>\nYunanl\u0131lar\u0131n \u0130lyada s\u0131 , Finlerin Kalevala s\u0131 , Hintlilerin Mahaharata s\u0131 \u00f6rnek verilebilir. <\/p>\n<p>  Yapay Epik ;  Yak\u0131n \u00e7a\u011fdaki milletlerin hayatlar\u0131na ait tarih yada toplum olaylar\u0131n\u0131 anlatan \u015fiirlerdir.<br \/>\n\u0130talyan Tasso\u2019nun Kurtar\u0131lm\u0131\u015f Kud\u00fcs \u00fc , Firdevsi\u2019nin \u015eehname si , J.Milton\u2019nun Kaybolmu\u015f Cennet i , \u00f6rnek g\u00f6sterilebilir.
