Tutulman\u0131n olabilmesi i\u00e7in, Ay&#8217;\u0131n, Arz etraf\u0131ndaki y\u00f6r\u00fcngesiyle Arz&#8217;\u0131n G\u00fcne\u015f etraf\u0131ndaki y\u00f6r\u00fcngesinin kesi\u015fim yerlerini belirleyen d\u00fc\u011f\u00fcm noktalar\u0131nda veya bu noktalar civar\u0131nda (Yeniay safhas\u0131nda) bulunmas\u0131 gerekir. Bilindi\u011fi \u00fczere bir y\u0131l i\u00e7erisinde 12 ay vard\u0131r. Yani Ay, Arz etraf\u0131nda y\u0131lda 12 kez dolan\u0131r. Atlantik Okyanusu&#8217;nda ba\u015flayan tutulma, Orta Avrupa ve T\u00fcrkiye \u00fczerinden Ortado\u011fu&#8217;ya kayarak Hindistan&#8217;dan ge\u00e7ti ve nihayet G\u00fcne\u015f&#8217;in batt\u0131\u011f\u0131 Bengal K\u00f6rfezi&#8217;nde son buldu. Gerek bilimsel gerekse turistik olarak b\u00fcy\u00fck ilgi \u00e7eken bu asr\u0131n son Tam G\u00fcne\u015f Tutulmas\u0131, \u00dclkemizden milyonlarca ki\u015fi taraf\u0131ndan \u00e7ok iyi bir \u015fekilde izlendi. Yerli ve yabanc\u0131 bir\u00e7ok bilimadam\u0131, tam tutulma safhas\u0131 yakla\u015f\u0131k 2 dakika s\u00fcren bu muhte\u015fem do\u011fa olay\u0131ndan yararlanarak G\u00fcne\u015f&#8217;in en d\u0131\u015f atmosfer tabakas\u0131 olan KORONA i\u00e7in bir\u00e7ok g\u00f6zlemsel deney ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirdi.
